However, don’t expect much from those little nods to the first game. As such, you will be able to run into a few familiar faces from Kingmaker and hear some vague comments about an upstart barony-turned-kingdom in the Stolen Lands. The events of the game take place in the same fantasy world as Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Golarion, but in a different, far away region and some time after the end of the first game. Note: there are minimal spoilers ahead, going no further than the first chapter of PF: WotR, and no more than you can find by scanning the Steam/Kickstarter page of the game.
